ForYourLegs is a division of Aleva Stores, which originated from American Medical Services founded in 1957. The company started as a small prosthetic fabrication business,  becoming a respected healthcare product retailer. Their current estimated revenue is $19m dollars. Their customer demographic is diverse, consisting of seniors, athletes, pregnant women, and service industry workers. This makes it difficult to isolate specific growth channels. The team instead have relied on leveraging personalized, innovative channels to succeed. This is why they turned to handwritten direct mail.
